Weather Alert Map is a comprehensive app that provides up-to-date severe weather information. With its instant PUSH technology, you can receive the latest Severe Weather Warnings, Watches, and Advisories. The app allows you to check radar images and storm tracks, as well as view historical climate details, ensuring that you are always aware of the weather conditions on your path.

One of the key features of this app is its ability to display a LIVE storm track and future path directly on the map. This feature provides critical weather alerts for your specific location in an easy and intuitive manner.

The app also offers an extensive range of additional features through In-App purchase. These features include high-resolution, predictive weather radar; satellite images of national and local cloud cover; current weather conditions; 10-day and hourly weather forecasts; lightning tracker; sea surface temperature; tide predictions; air quality index; and earthquake updates. These additional features allow users to stay ahead of severe weather no matter where they are.

Weather Alert Map ensures that you have access to all watches, warnings, and advisories issued by the National Weather Service. These cover a wide range of potential weather events such as air quality issues, avalanches, blizzards, floods, earthquakes, high winds, hurricanes, thunderstorms, and more. The affected areas are color-coded on the map for easy identification, and tapping on a warning or advisory provides a summarized version with the option to view more detailed information.

The app's key features include PUSH notifications for multiple locations and interactive vector-based severe weather alerts and details. The alerts cover a wide range of severe weather events including storms, tornadoes, wildfires, earthquakes, winter weather, extreme temperatures, tropical storms, hurricanes, typhoons, volcanoes, tsunami warnings, wind alerts, 911 outages, fog conditions, flooding situations, civil emergencies, nuclear power plant warnings, law enforcement advisories, local emergencies, child abduction emergencies, avalanches, and more.

Moreover, the radar feature provides animated weather radar images around your current location, allowing you to quickly assess the weather patterns approaching your area. The high-resolution radar provides stunning and sharp images and is sourced from the National Weather Service for the entire U.S.

For a broader view of cloud cover and weather patterns, the app offers satellite images of North America, Europe, Japan, Indonesia, and Australia. These images are sourced from reliable sources such as GOES, European satellites, and Japanese satellites.

If you need to know the sea surface temperatures near you, Weather Alert Map offers this information based on buoys and satellite maps. This feature is particularly useful for fishermen, divers, surfers, sailors, lifeguards, boaters, and anyone interested in water temperatures.

Tide predictions are also available for thousands of ports, harbors, and popular coastal locations worldwide. The app provides accurate times and heights for high and low tides.

Air quality is an important consideration for many individuals. With Weather Alert Map's Air Quality feature, you can access forecasted air quality data updated hourly for the U.S. This includes levels for fine particles and ozone.

For a detailed view of weather conditions in your neighborhood or any location worldwide, the Weather feature allows you to easily pan and zoom. You can access current weather conditions and a 10-day weather forecast in cities all over the world. The interactive maps display current weather conditions and temperatures on top.

The Earthquakes feature provides near real-time updates on the latest earthquakes across the U.S. and worldwide. The app generates a real-time map that shows earthquakes with a magnitude over 1.0 that have occurred in the past day. This data is sourced from multiple agencies worldwide, including the USGS and EMSC.

Lastly, the Lightning Tracker feature allows you to monitor live lightning strikes near your area. You can also view lightning strikes that have occurred up to 6 hours ago.
